The SUPER GT season came to a close at Twin Ring Motegi over the weekend, and as a thank you for the hard work from the Gulf Racing team, crew and helpers, I presented everyone with a range of New Zealand gifts – a taste of home.
I even managed to stumble my way through a thank you speech in Japanese, though my studies are going to need another year or two yet before I’m rattling it off confidently!
There was Villa Maria Wines for the management, and every flavour of Whittaker’s Chocolate for the crew – two fine examples of delicious Kiwi foods and beverages.
On the track, a fourth place finish capped of a great weekend to end my debut SUPER GT season. I’m already counting down for 2018…
