JL Coaching brings professional-level experience to drivers and teams across Thailand and greater South-East Asia. Whether you’re chasing your first clean track day or fighting for podiums, the work is the same: find the time, then make it repeatable.

Coaching is for drivers of all levels: juniors, track day bandits, aspiring pros, and current FIA Bronze-level GT3, GT4 and touring car drivers.

Coaching runs in the family. Jono is a third-generation racing driver and the son of respected coach Richard Lester, whose pupils have gone on to Formula 1, World Touring Cars, V8 Supercars and more.

Jono has made close to 400 starts in his 22-year driving career across GT and touring car series in Asia-Pacific, Australasia, Europe and the UAE. He has scored race wins and podiums in SUPER GT, GT World Challenge Asia, GT Asia, Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia, Porsche Carrera Cups, Thailand Super Series, Asian Le Mans Series and TCR.

His coaching spans drivers in F4, Porsche Carrera Cup, GT4, GT3, TCR and V8s. That experience goes straight into your driving, your data and your weekend.

English and Thai / อังกฤษ และ ไทย

Coaching is delivered primarily in English, which is preferred. Jono also speaks elementary and growing Thai, so Thai-speaking drivers are well looked after.
