I spotted little “Spud” on a recent visit to SPCA Auckland, catching up with the Communications team there about upcoming fundraisers I’ll be taking part in as one of New Zealand’s three official #SPCAambassador‘s
He was curious, playful and confident, despite having only three legs – the result of a fracture which healed incorrectly prior to his recue and rehabilitation by the SPCA team.
I couldn’t go home without him, so I didn’t! He’s now a part of my growing family at home in Karaka, where he has all the space in the world to tear around at 100 miles an hour!
