Continuing my work as an Ambassador for the New Zealand SPCA, I was thrilled to hear of their newest fundraiser – Walk Your Dog To The Moon – which takes places throughout November.
The concept is simple, and a lot of fun:
- Sign up as a Moonwalker
- Grab your dog (if you’ve got one) and start clocking up the miles
- Aim for the target distance (from earth to the moon!) by combining your November run/walk total with other Moonwalkers around NZ
I couldn’t think of a better concept for me (fitness and animals!) even if I’m a self-confessed ‘cat guy’. Thankfully, gorgeous little Belle has raised her paw to be my sidekick for the month.
